Highlight From The 2021 Youth Entrepreneurship Development Workshop
The 2021 Youth Entrepreneurship Development Workshop was successfully held in collaboration with The Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria, Ekwulobia Diocese as part of our Education Advocacy Programme (EAP) for the year 2021.
The event was held on 17th July, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Hall, in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, Nigeria.
The focus of this year’s program is on Skills and Entrepreneurship, it’s prospects and challenges for Nigerian youths.
The topics discussed are:
- Guides for Successful Entrepreneurship in Professional Ventures
- Harnessing your Entrepreneurial Skills set
- Opportunities in Agro-allied Ventures for Youths
The guest speakers for each topics respectively are:
- Chief Pharm. Oliver Chuks Ezeobi
- Comrade Okey Cyril-Nwuche
- Mr. Sixtus-Philip Okafor
The event was well graced by top dignitaries who came to witness and support the youths. it was equally well attended by youths with entrepreneurial mind set and prospect for excellence.
Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) covered and broadcasted the event across its channels on Monday 19th July, 2021.
All the interviewed attendees expressed satisfaction on the idea, the organistaion and outcome of the event. The Chairman, Board of Trustees, Chief Prof. Francis O. Okafor expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the Foundation for the impact made by all the speakers and the support received from the dignitaries as well as the zeal shown by the youths in attendance. He then promised to make the program a yearly event and to spread it across.
