TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development (UFED) welcomes you to its website. A legal relationship exists between the Foundation and visitors/users its website. The relationship involves obligations on the part of the Foundation and commitments on the part of visitors to and users of the website. The Foundation is obliged to deliver quality services to website visitors and users. The commitment of the users is to abide by terms and conditions of use specified for the website. The Foundation commits itself to abide by both national and international rules of engagement in the ownership and management of a website.

By deciding to browse and use this website, you have committed yourself to comply with the terms and conditions of use specifically mentioned here under. In addition, you have pledged to be bound by relevant nationally and internationally recognized regulations and convention applicable to website users. 1. PROPERTY RIGHTS OF UFED

UFED is the bona-fide owner of the intellectual and proprietary property rights in this website in whatever form (information, data, graphics, art work, photographs, sound and video recording, icons, Lagos etc) as well as the underlying system. All the above intellectual property rights are reserved.

2. PERMISSIBLE USE OF WEBSITE CONTENT

User of the website are granted limited license in dealing with materials on this website. Specifically users have the right to view, reference and print out pages on the website for personal use subject to restrictions, if any, set out in the terms of use.

3. UNACCEPTIBLE USE OF WEBSITE AND/OR ITS CONTENT

Users are prohibited from using the website in any way that could damage or impair the functionality of the website specifically, a user is not permitted to:

  1.  Information provided in your website account must be complete, accurate and current not only at the beginning but all the time. There is the need to update the information whenever changes occur.
  2. Certain areas of the website are restricted. However UEFD could, on request, provide you with a user ID and password to enable you access such restricted areas of the website.
  3. User ID and passwords are very confidential and must be kept securely and remain confidential all the time.
  4. UFED must be notified if any unauthorized disclosure of ID and/or password occurs through an e-mail to info@ugonmutafoundation.org.

Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development shall not be liable to you for any failure to perform under this Terms where such failure is due to an event which could not have been reasonably foreseen or beyond our control including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or manmade eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of this Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development in relation to your use of this website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

14. Governing Law

This Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, without reference to principles of conflict of laws and parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian Courts.

15.2

The failure of Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development at any time to enforce your performance of any provisions of this Agreement shall in no way affect Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development rights thereafter to enforce the same, nor shall the waiver by Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development of any breach of any provision hereof be held to be a waiver of any other breach of the same or any other provision.

16. Indemnity

You hereby agree to hold Ugonmuta Foundation for Educational Development free and harmless from any and all claims, damages, and expenses of every kind or nature whatsoever arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
